Does Different Squares manufacture its own furniture?
Yes. Different Squares has had in-house manufacturing since 2007, working across metal, wood, glass, acrylic, veneer and real wood. This gives better control over quality, cost and timelines than relying on outside suppliers.
How long does a typical fit-out take?
It depends on the size and scope of the space. As a general guide, design takes about 3 weeks, execution about 8–10 weeks, and post-execution and handover about 1–2 weeks. Smaller projects can move much faster. For example, an 8,500 sq.ft. office for Tech Mahindra in Pune was completed in just 17 days.
Can you work on a space that is still in use?
Yes. Execution can be phased or scheduled around your operations. Past examples include phased work inside a live hospital at Somaiya Ayurvihar and night-only execution for Star TV’s office, so day-to-day work continued without disruption.
